Annual Choral Showcase
has been canceled for 2006
Our Seventh Annual Choral Showcase was held Friday, April 15, 2005, at the Clemens
Center with over 250 people in attendance!
It was a wonderful night of celebrating the diverse choral traditions of the local Christian
community!
Thank you to all the choirs who participated and all of the people
who came out to enjoy a beautiful evening!
The Salvation Army Food Pantry thanks
you for your generous donations!
The
Choral Showcase was established to meet the following objectives:
- Provide
a forum and venue for local Christian Church Chorus to display their talents
in a ministry to the community.
- Provide
a vehicle to assist Choir Directors with an incentive to increase skills and
presentation.
- Provide
a venue for Choir satisfaction
- Provide
an incentive for Choir recruitment and retention.
- Permit
the Choirs an opportunity to evaluate and assimilate techniques of other
choirs.
- Benefit
the community in such ways as working with the Salvation Army Food Pantry
